State Champs!
Well state was last weekend and let me tell you it was quite an event. I had three events a day and the hardest events at that. I was so tired the whole meet because the meet was so long and grueling and the season was just winding down so we were all tired. My individual races were horrible but i somehow got it together on the relays. Our first relay was seeded 7th place but we all stepped up and got 3rd in the State! The next day Our relay was seeded 7th again but we could only move up to 6th that day. On the last day last event, everyone was tired and we would have been totally happy and satisfied with another 3rd place finish but no we jump in im the anchor and going last we were first going into my leg it was up to i get in and get a best time WE WON STATE!!!!!! it was a good day

Victory is Sweet
After our last Marlins meet. It was my fellow senior and mines last home swim meet. So after the meet we all went in there and one of the juniors brought there stereo system so we turned that on full blast and had a party. Well little did we know that they could all hear it outside and there were children outside and parents so the parents complained and we had a noise complainyt called on us. so needless to say we are not aloud to have music in the locker room.
You Lost it I Found it!
Well as you know from my previous blogs i have almost gotten suspended from the swim team once this year. So we have a dinky little lost in found bin outside of the locker room where goggles and other things that kids use. So we all invested in a lock to get for a locker in the locker room so only we knew the combination. so we started taking goggles we found and put them in the locker. After that we strated taking the goggles we kept the shampoo and soap we found that little kids left. Coach started getting calls from parents saying that kids were losing there goggles and no one knew where the goggles were. A kid found out that we had all the goggles and told on so coach went in and talked to us and said one more mess up and we are all suspended.

Drama? Really?
Well First off the number ONE rule in the locker room is what happenes in the locker room stays in the locker room. Well we were talking about one of the girls on the team one day and i guess that night one of the guys decided to text her all that we had to say and me and the other senior found out about it. So we confronted him about it and needless to say i dont think he will ever tell anybody anything ever again.

Towel Trouble
I have practice with the Owenboro Mercy Marlins everyday at 4 pm. I've been on the team for about 10 years now so i feel like i have more right to do thing there than most of the members do. There is a seperate locker room for the members that has a hottub, sauna, and free healthpark towels that only members can use. So the other day me and 5 other guys on the team went to the mens locker room (where we aren't supposed to be) and we set up a whole covert operation to get there and back with numerous towels and not getting caught by any of the workers. Well we of course made it there and back and sprinted to our locker room successfully. We then procceeded to count how many we actually got. The previous record for towels retrieved was 30 towels which is alot if you ask me. We get done counting and it was 53 TOWELS!!! so us, being the brightest bunch that we are, decided to take pictures of all of us and the towels and put them on facebook. So we show up at practice the naxt day and the aquatics director was sitting there looking angrier than ever and apparently her daughter is friends with us on facebook and showed her mom the pictures. To end the story shortly she said we could be suspende from the Marlins and kicked out of the Healthpark for taking pictures in the locker room. Needless to say very funny when it happened but we got caught so ya... oh well guess we wont take pictures next time.
